Served on the 200-year-old wooden spycher board with a "carver"

Built in 1812, the "Holzspycher" is the oldest building in Oeschinen. Until a few years ago, Grosätti David Wandfluh made cheese from his beloved brown cows there himself. We have now cut and gently planed the 200-year-old cheese boards from the Gade. Today they serve as the basis for your enjoyment. All products come from the region and are made with love for the craft. We bake the bread fresh daily at Oeschinensee with flour from the Burgholz mill. Ä Guete!

Our operations at Oeschinensee are not connected to the public water supply. We therefore operate our own supply network with springs, pumps, supply lines and a UV disinfection system. The construction and maintenance of the infrastructure, the statutory laboratory controls and the service are costly. We therefore charge for tap water.
