The “Holzspycher”, built in 1812, is the oldest building in Oeschinen. Until a few years ago, Grosätti David Wandfluh himself produced cheese from his beloved brown cows there. We have now cut and gently planed the 200-year-old cheese boards from the Gade. Today they serve as the basis for your enjoyment. All products come from the region and are made with attention to craftsmanship. We bake the bread fresh daily at Oeschinensee with flour from the Burgholz mill. Enjoy your meal!

Our establishments at Oeschinensee are not connected to the public water supply. That is why we operate our own supply network with springs, pumps, supply lines and UV disinfection systems. The construction and maintenance of the infrastructure, the statutory laboratory controls and the service are costly. We therefore charge for tap water.
